How is everyone doing?
This is definitely a troublesome time in the world right now and is certainly one I hope we never face again in our life time.
I’ve been finding myself thankful everyday for all that I have, love, shelter, food and water and still being able to walk outside. These are truly the most important things in my life.
I will be trying to cook all my recipes from food that I already have at home. This could get interesting! Ordering in groceries may be something new to try?
I am choosing to step back and embrace anything postive that can be taken away from this situation and I hope you can do the same. I pray you are all safe and well.
How to make Korean Beef with Cabbage
This dish is reasonably inexpensive and is simple to make on top of that. The cook time is a short 15 minutes, so what are you waiting for?
No sense messing aorund with a bunch of chopping if you are in a hurry. Cut the cabbage into large chunks and throw it in the food processor, give it a whiz and viola!
In a skillet, over medium heat, add the sesame oil. To the sesame oil add the grated ginger, garlic, serrano pepper, bulb of the onion and cook for one minute, continuously stirring.
To the aromatics, add the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any remaining fat and juices and return to heat. To the ground beef, add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste and cabbage. Cook for three more minutes.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
