Asian vinaigrette dressing is so easy and will take you less than five minutes to throw together. Toss with all your favorite vegetables for a quick slaw.
Asian slaws are great side dishes, a delicious addition to your tacos, and add loads of flavor to rice bowls.
Why we go shopping for vinaigrette dressings is beyond me. It literally takes more time to scan through the store shelves and choose a brand, than it does to actually make one.
Spring is Here!
Spring is my favorite time of year. Watching everything come back to life always feels like a fresh new beginning. Nothing is impossible to achieve and once again the winter blues quickly fade away.
With the days growing longer, more work is accomplished and the willingness to face more outdoor activities is sprung to life.
Spring is like the new year to me and I am so excited for it to start. The thought of getting out and exploring nature once again is already bringing me solace.
Coincidentally, I was born on the first day of Spring, though this has no impact on my love for the season. In days past, I felt important and special on that one day, and I so looked forward to embracing that feeling, one day, each year.
After many years, that special feeling I once got has subsided. But it does not impact the excitement of a fresh new start of a new year for me.
How to make Asian Vinaigrette Dressing
In a jar or blender, combine the rice vinegar, lime juice, sesame oil, peanut oil, and sweetener. Shake well or quickly pulse together. Add the sesame seeds and mix together.
Combine with your favorite mix of vegetables such as a mixture of cabbages, sweet peppers, carrots, green onions, and cilantro.
