Description
Sweetened condensed milk is thick and creamy, the perfect ingredient to incorporate into all of your baking desires!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup Swerve confectioner’s
Instructions
Measure the heavy cream and place in a medium saucepan. Add the sweetener to the cream and whisk together really well but not to where the cream is actually being whipped.
Place on medium heat and bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes. Do not stir or whisk while cooking.
Remove from heat and allow to cool. Pour through a fine mesh sieve. Do not scrape the sides or bottom of the pan.
Transfer to a sealed jar and place in the refrigerator.
Notes
This will heavily thicken over time, for a less thick condensed milk, reduce cooking time to 35 minutes.
Will keep in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.
