Description
Candied nuts are lightly spiced with cinnamon and kissed with a touch of honey.
Ingredients
Scale
1 egg white, at room temperature
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup Swerve confectioners
1 Tablespoon honey
3 cups unsalted nuts
Instructions
Have the oven set at 300° and line a half sheet pan with parchment paper.
Whisk the room temperature egg white until it is just short of being at a stiff peak.
Add the cinnamon, salt, sweetener and honey into the egg white and mix until just combined. (Do not over-whip.)
Fold the nuts into the egg white mixture and spread out evenly of the pan.
Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Place pan on a wire rack to cool.
